“ Food was ok but wanted to brag about the incredible service we received from Justin! He was so kind and attentive to us. Kept our drinks full, checked in frequently, and was delighted to fulfill all of our requests. One of the best servers I've ever had. He's what made the experience for us today! ”
“ I've been going to Captain Tom's for 30 years and have always enjoyed the food and the service most of the time. I understand the cost of doing business and was not bothered when they recently started a service charge for paying with a card. Here is the problem, it is illegal to charge a service fee for paying with a "debit card". I would suggest that the new policy ensures that those who pay with a debit card are NOT charged a service fee. ”

“ Captain Tom's is always a family favorite. We drive here from Glen Allen and it's worth it. Even my grandmother, who was very picky, loved the food here. After visiting a distillery, my parents and I ended up here after another place in the area had a two hour wait. We only had two wait about 10 minutes and was seated in a booth in a bustling area of the restaurant. The service was quick and professional, the food is fresh, hot and well prepared. The prices are great and the portions are really good. Only thing I'd like to see is the addition of real butter. The peculiar tasting spread is not for me. ”
“ I came in an hour before closing and they greeted me with a smile. My order did not take long and everything was hot and fresh. My waitress was super attentive and told me not to rush because I had plenty of time to sit and enjoy. My eyes were obviously bigger than my belly when I ordered because I only ate my scallops, some of the backed potato and a few popcorn shrimp. I even stayed a while longer after packing up my food to chat with the staff. This was my mom's favorite restaurant so it brings back good memories! ”
